Description

I almost called this "Putting It All Together" as although it is a relatively simple set-up, it puts together in one image most of what I have learned so far about using Carrara - lighting, texturing, rendering and of course hair (!). There's a little subtle postwork, mainly for tidy-up and levels. The image originated from a simple test of Syltermermaid's Fernanda character and just grew from there - so thanks Ute for the inspiration - another great character! Thanks for looking, you are so kind in leaving feedback! Phil

The hair rocks, of course, but I also really like her eyes...which is really rare for a 3d character. The image feels close to the quality of lighting and skin that a lot of C4D users seem to get. Great work!

I'm glad you like Fernanda. I try to stay with my new characters as near as possible on realism, also if the eyes are a bit smaller and the mouth are not as full as by other V4 characters!!! You did a fantastic render with her!!!! Marvelous work!! Favourite!! Hugs Ute
