Very interesting concept, but I have a few questions. 1) What is the purpose of the concrete slab to the NW corner and (assuming Northern hemisphere)? 2) The pier is ovular in shape, again very intriguing concept, but the essence of a "pier" is to interact with the water by jutting out onto a narrow isthmus, no? Why not develop the shape into some opaque or transparent pieces, even better, how about creating voids? Just my thoughts. 3) Which direction is the long-shore drift?
