Description

This is part of an installation that artist Jean-Pierre Husquinet prepared in the Etalle woods along the path to the fortified stronghold of Montauban. Le long d’un chemin abrupt, on découvre une installation de l’ariste belge Jean-Pierre Husquinet, composée de 15 lettres de 2,50 mètres de hauteur. Ces 15 stations métalliques entourées de cordages, ligaturées en hauteur sur le tronc des arbres, reconstituent une phrase à la dimension et au contenu ambigus: "Believe it or (k)not" La langue anglaise est utilisée ici car elle permet un petit jeu sémantique selon la lecture ou non de la lettre "k" : "Croyez-le ou non" peut donc subir un décalage subtil en "Croyez-le ou noeud".
