Description

Now that her dragon is ready, a little armor is in order. Three separate renders all combined in Photoshop with lots of postwork. I really wanted to give the impression the armor was magically forming on her, not sure if I pulled it off or not. Seemed a lot easier in my head :)

Excellent composition with awesome effects , and yah, can see armor appearing on her , maybe you could do it with more light effects on armor for more attention :)

I see what you mean, that's why the armour is kind of transparent in some places. Great idea and effects. I think if you put the focus on the armour with the effects and have less coloured lights behind her, a darker, more neutral background, we might put our attention more on the armour, that's more or less what moonbunnie is saying. I'm saying less light and colours behind her instead of more effects on the armour :) Still beautifully done :)

very nice! love the color contrast, the dragon looks awesome, and, well, considering your title, i can see that it's the armor she's creating -- but maybe a slightly different arm/hand pose might emphasize it a bit more? i dunno, the lights look okay to me, it's just that maybe if her arms were in front of her, the idea might be a bit more clear? it's still a beautiful image, regardless.

as mentioned before the armor isn't the point primarily catching my eyes - but the lights do... and they are great!!! I love the colour-play and the sparkling effect. All the other textures seem to fade to gray:superb!!! 5***** and more ;)

I think you pulled it off pretty nice, actually. Her expression is adorable, and I LOVE the way the dragon looks so intense. Awesome work, Ian.

Took me a second but I defintely get where you were going with this, very cool idea with the armor. Good train of thought and very well executed. Nice blend of composites into one fluid piece man.
