Description

Gothic-style gabled and lanterned memorial. Apparently constructed of Bath stone, this has badly weathered in recent years and much of the memorial is incomplete. It requires extensive reconstruction.

Interesting effect, unfortunately the reading path leads my eye straight to the artefacts at the top of the spire - but a very cool concept

Crumbling is the word that comes to mind. Like your postwork...it adds a sense of other worldliness to this old memorial. Bill

Angels make choices about dwelling places. They favor the poor as champions and the wealthy as benefactors.

Awesome! I immediately recognized the front top design in the shape of the Oak leaf , which was a Pantheistic pagan symbol that followed into the Gothic architecture designs from the Normon bloodline. All descending from the early Sumerian cultures. neat!!!

Nice shot (especially considering the contortions you went through to take it :-)) and the interesting postwork is in keeping with the subject.
