Description
Point of Gap is part of the Kittatinny mountains, elevation of 1463 feet it's a point on the Delaware River Water Gap, seen from overlook on Route 611 Pa.

Great, crystal clear image. The Delaware Watergap was fommed by glacial melt waters at one stage of the ice-sheet's retreat. The next stage of the retreat created the Mohawk Valley-Hudson River system. And now the drainage goes out the St. Lawrence River. Geomorphologists love this sort of stuff. And so do I.
