Description

Originally rendered at 3000x1500 for Doc Mojo. This is a cropped version, there's another butte to the left. I used a 30 meter resolution DEM (Monument Valley) and added another texture in Mojoworld for increased detail. The rock texture is almost the same as in my Paradise Found texture. The line of sunlight hitting the rock is a hack - Sunlight intensity is driven with a fractal >:) Hope you like it, it took 520 min to render while doing some other things on the computer!

I spent half of today trying to figure out how you did those rock strata overhangs. Nice idea!!! Love it. (I never would have thought of your solution!) -Mo
