Description

"Enjoy the show boys." prop modeled and textured by me lighting by me lanterns modeled by my friend/teacher NO POST WORK I know this image will not get much, due to the fact its not the popular style here at renderosity. The Back Alley was modeled and textured by me, with the help of my teacher on some of the modeling, as for the lighting in the scene is all my own. I am far from an elite here, but at least my stuff has originality as well as my own props that I made, when it comes down to it in the end 75% of this image is mine and the blood sweat and tears that went it making it. Far from the typical figure on a background.

I think it's really great!!! I love the fact that you made almost everything yourself! I try to do the same thing, own poses, own backgrounds, in fact, I've almost got to the stage where I feel like I'm cheating if I use someone's pre- made back ground or poses!!! It's silly because it can limit me in what I can create. Anyway I love the image,the lighting and composition is gorgeous and the character a real doll!!!

Very cool cabaret dancer! What we can see of the alley looks really great. I think it's good that you are stretching your talent to go into modeling. I think it must be very satisfying to be able to create sets that really fit your vision. Nicely done!

I for one have high regard when artists tell of their struggles to make a piece or what brought them to make the attempt. In the end does it matter what tools we use as long as we are happy in the making? Or grow from the attempt. The journey to artistic happiness has many paths and if we sometimes have to take a step back and do something seamingly less aesthetic for the sake our own souls who should worry about such twists on the path?
