Description
Very funny how this one turned out... I hadn't planned anything at all, but have some fun with... some webcam capture of mine... The original shot has -of course- nothing to do with the result that looks like some Trent Reznor in torment, and I am extremely surprised of having achieved something so close to a painting... Well I actually digipainted some parts of it, and played with textures and transparency to get something that could be taken for a painting... bla bla.
Then end justifies the means :D...
Just you remember I had great fun making this dark piece that wasn't supposed to be born the same day as me!!!

This is an impressive and outstanding piece of work! I DO love the elements of this that so closely resemble an actual painting. I'm also struck by a wee bit of coincidence as well: this reminds me of the "face" on Mars. This stands on its own, without any need to refer to anything else, though now, I DO wanna dig up some Trent Reznor/Nine Inch Nails. Great work here, and I especially love the colors!
