Lately I've been doing some experiments in black & white. I posted a few recently but I have 2 or 3 that I will not post. This one was done already a few days ago and I hesitated until now if I should post it here or not. Thanks for watching!

Very interesting. The birds and cat balance out well and make the image pop. Without which, the tree would look like it's travel near light-speed. LOLOLOL If done in a more illustrative style, it would look like 'manga drama lines'. Makes me want to do a black&white render. Very cool!

Very cool effects in this image Arne...love the B&W look and the way the cat is the focal point within the radiating light rays...great,original image!
