That shaft of sunlight hit the leaf in just the right spot Aled, I don't think you could have done much better if you had posed it in a studio. Nothing quite like natural lighting when it happens, it just a matter of waiting for the right time. Mind you some of us could die waiting for it. It just happened for you with this one mate. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!

What a beauty that one is! Wonderful macro! I wish I could have got just one to sit still for me this past summer! Sorta like you not getting the squirrels to sit still:-) Alex sees a lot of butterflies in Virginia but here in New York I see very few:-( Maybe next year...
