Description

My tiger painting did so well that I thought I'd try my hand at another furry animal. :) I debated which genre to put this in because technically this is not a wolf but rather a werewolf - hence the red eyes and the title. I could have gone with fantasy instead of animals. Ah well, my husband voted for animals. What do you think? Hope you like this one too! Be sure to zoom on this to see the details. Thanks sooooo much for your comments and favs on my last picture! I appreciate it very much! P.S. The down side to these paintings is that I have to use a lot of repetitive motion to do all the brush strokes for the fur. I have this wrist problem where my hand falls asleep after I do a lot of this. It's not 'bad' per se - at least it doesn't hurt - but it is annoying. Guess that's the price for producing art. :)

Wow - this is a fantastic painting - and no wonder your hand is numb after all that fur painting. My suggestion is to get one of those squeeze balls that occupational therapists use, to train tha hand. If you take a break every five-ten minutes or so, and squeeze the ball (it's made of some kind of foam) then you'll find the numbness happens much less. Good luck! And please keep such lovely artwork coming, it's such a treat to watch. Gun aka redheadgrrl
