Description
We lost one of our own (Patriot Guard Rider), who was well liked and a good friend.
Spending so much time going to interments, it was hard to think of some way to pay respects properly in this case, to our friend and his family.
In the end, this image came out of mental "doodling" trying to find "something" that felt right.
The only postwork was the text, added in Photoshop.

A fitting tribute to your friend. My dad was military and I have the utmost respect for those who put their lives on the line to protect and serve....policemen, firemen, and military. They're all heroes to me. When 9/11 happened, I didn't have to go out and buy a flag. I had four. Condolences on the loss of your friend.
