Description
This was taken this summer and I thought I better get it in here before I start posting fall pictures. This canyon is in the Glass Mts. just east of Crowley Lake in the Eastern Sierras of California. The view is looking towards the famous Ritter Range, which is also just east of Yosemite NP.
You can probably see what it is that attracts me to this area..... wide open... EMPTY expanse! You are actually looking at open range country. There are cattle grazing out there beyond our vision. I have another post in my gallery "Rush Hour Traffic", that is looking AT this canyon from the road.
