Description

Wow . . . just bought Vue 6 . . . the spectral atmospheres are wild!! Anyways, didn't take very long to rig this beastie, though the joints aren't finished being tweaked. All in all from model to rigged took 3 days. Heh, and the one day I did nothing on it :P I was watching one of the documentaries that came with my Walking With series and there is evidence to suggest trex and other large predators hunted in packs. Which makes sense. Would be easier to make large kills. Just a tid bit. Cheers Darrin

Ah but the nitpickers out there, will note that grass did not exist in it's current form, if at all during the time of the T-rexes. :P I was called on it in one of my renders so that's how I know. But, yeah, Vue is freaking awesome once you get to learn it's ins and outs, which I'm still trying to do. The boys up there look awesome. One suggestion I would have, would be to lower the shadows of your sun to about 70%. It cuts down on render time and it lightens up the shadows enough to show more details. Also, if a portion of the body is too dark, don't be afraid to add a quadratic point light to the scene to lighten it up a bit. Great work!

Heh, this is true about the grass, I've heard it mentioned that next to no general ground cover existed even in the cretaceous . . . but it does make the image look nice :D

Gosh - I'm impressed. Wonderful job just starting out in Vue. Excellent setting for your two beasties. I'd hate to run into them! Great job on this!
