Description

I have no idea what the name of this shrub is, but in the spring and summer it carries bunches of these tiny rose look-alike flowers. This year was not a particularly good year, but usually the whole shrub is covered in them. I just find them so adorable!! (Maybe Andrea or PJ can help with a name?) Wishing everyone a great weekend and my Canadian friends Happy Thanksgiving! Thank you for popping in and for your very valued comments on this image as well as my previous upload. Thank you also to those who chose my previous upload as a favourite. Hugs, Carin xx

They do appear to be a type of wild, thornless rose. A gentle, soft apricot that is so very appealing. So softly stirring like the faint brush of a lover's lips upon the cheek...

How pretty these are and I think they may be from a Banksia rose though I'm not sure. The Banksia has no thorns and very long arching branches like a climber.

Beautiful tiny roses Carin, and the best sort at that, without thorns. No matter how careful I am when cutting back the roses I always get stabbed at least once, usually more. Excellent capture and postwork. Bravo!!!!!
