Description

Major James: Of course she's not a spy; you can trust my Goldie! Captain Tanya (Deviantfinder General): We have evidence. One of my guard robots aboard RoboCommander Melinda's ship reports communications between the RoboCommander and your robot; we have reason to believe RoboCommander Melinda is about to defect to the Twins. James: Where's this evidence, then? Captain Tanya: It does not concern you, just your robot. The Twins and their followers and sympathisers are all to be eliminated and all traces of them eradicated from the planet where they have set up their headquarters. Major James: Why? And why can't they have a place of their own? They're not just unthinking robots any more. Captain Tanya: Nor are they humans, Major. You have a soft spot for them because they look female - you silly men, growing fond of your androids just because they have a particular shape and letting them dress as human girls. No robot is entitled to independent thoughts and delusions of personality, Major. Their sole purpose in life is to serve and obey. It is my task to seek out and destroy all defective, rogue and deviant robots. Major James: I disagree. These androids have obviously developed individual personalities and are therefore entitled to be regarded as intelligent creatures with their own rights, and - Captain Tanya: and must therefore be immediately exterminated. It is, of course, very, very helpful to us, Major, to know just where your sympathies lie. Perhaps you will be kind enought to let my guards here escort you and your robot to my offices where we can discuss your case in detail and help you see the error of your ways. Major James: I think - Captain Tanya: Thoughts can be dangerous, Major; thoughts can be weapons too.

Indeed he's scared: look at the position of his knees, to say nothing of the sub-servient tilt of his head. Great story; terrible turn for Mjor james.
