Very lovely scene. I rather like this one. Reminds me of being at the Grand Canyon right before the sun sets and the last rays are good. Great mood to this. Well done!

dark landscapes—especially with little or no sign of human life—are very difficult to do; yet you do it here with real gentleness & invitation. It's dark, but quietly alive, and your gentle slopes soften the high peaks in the background, making the land seem like a big bowl or, better, a big land-made bed. I love the late-day/early-morning light, and the fact that you allow it to stay that way; and i love the quiet cloud-cover as well. A quiet peaceful work, with a lot of subtle detail; and a quiet invitation to someplace else...very nice work, lyron. And peaceful.
