There is something stirring about this image, more than first meets the eye. There is an almost mystical quality to it. More a magical postcard than an imaginary. It is very hard to stop looking into it, like a pull towards the past or perhaps memories of the past. Awesome... Seth

good looking design... My imagination makes me feel of money because of the triangular eye... then the peacocks eye make me feel there is a watching... the hearts in the hands give me the feel of hearts stopping... then we have evil lurking in the bottem left, while a fairy tale figure such as peter pan dives away from the problems... I guess this stock market thing is on everyones minds and is influenceing my imagination in this one.

sometimes your images have a real retrospective feel, and this is one of them. It's delightfully airy and primal w/ some 19th C. folk images, a touch of Currier & Ives, a touch of Rousseau, a little of the American 19th C. painters, and a lot of you & your many-sided imagination. Feels like a gentle paradise scene with those huge pastoral flowers & leaves, a diving green god and even an old airplane, along with those old eyes-in-a-triangle and others symbols of community & municipality from centuries past. It really is an old postcard, a kind of "Peaceable Kingdom" for current eyes, and another show of your gentle sense of play. If this were printed, I'd buy it. I even like the bend in the middle, as if it had been folded in a drawer for decades. Lovely work, Mandi. Such gentle variety.
