Description

After work the other day, I decided to go to Maria State Park to get some fall shots. I ended up seeing quite a few deer in the short time I was there, and I even stuck around for a great sunset. This is the first deer I saw. It ran from the road I was driving on, into the woods and stopped and stared like this for a long time. There was not enough light to get a decent shot, but I did manage a few and with a few tweaks in photoshop, I was able to make something of 1 or 2. I was pretty happy. :) I hope you all are having a nice weekend. Thanks so much for stopping by and for any comments you should decide to make. Deer can be surprising hard to photograph. We have so many of them here but I've only managed to make a handful of good images of them. Lovely portrait!
