Description

In the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, in the buying and giving of gifts, we often overlook the gifts among us. God has not only blessed us with his only son our Lord and Savior, but he also blessed us with the gift of family. Over the years all too frequently failed to appreciate this gift. Periodically, I was reminded of this great treasure during the coming holidays. And remember and cherish everyday. I was first reminded in 1969, when we lost our wonderful father, (Thanksgiving Day.) In 1993 (December 21st) when we lost our loving brother and October 14th of 2004 when we lost our loving mother... Now I am reminded that the family of five that I once knew is only my dear sister and I remain.
