The soft weather autumn day brought us in this morning to a little village close to ours, with a typical Dutch lowland view “Krommenie” This water area is called “the Crommenije” Have a great fantastic day and thanks for your support and kind comments on my previous postings. Just looking around your gallery and enjoying it immensely. This photo caught my attention. What a beautiful scene. How is it that a house can be so close to the water? Are the buildings on pilings? I'm not an engineer, or an architect...just curious. Bill
