Description

This majestic owl is a siberian eagle owl and has the name Olga :). Again a shot from the wildpark series with Marcel-P. Thank you all so much for your great comments and favs on my previous post and hope you like this one as well. Bit sad about the leather strap arround her feed. - Best viwed Fullsize - Julius

Fantastic shot. A very beautiful animal. A funny name, prolly of russian origin. Maybe Olga is being trained by a sort of falconeer. They know what they are doing.. so i don't think the leather straps hurt Olga. Anyway.. she would be prettier without them. Not sure about the purpose of the leatherstraps. They are probably there for a very good reason. Wonderful capture and story.+5
