Description

Strawberry pot, shot at Wight's Nursery. Natural afternoon light. .......... For those of you who have been kind enough to ask about my eye, here's an update: I'm recovering nicely from surgery. I had to wear a patch at night for a few nights, but am done with that now. They're having me put drops in my eyes four times a day until the first week of November. What a pain in the patootie THAT is! I don't actually know how my vision is yet, because the drops cause blurred vision. The drops are antibiotics and anti-inflammatories, so it's worth the blur for a while to make sure there are no complications. I'll see my regular eye doctor on Wednesday afternoon for what should be my last post-op exam. In the meantime, I'm posting shots I worked up before I had my surgery. I've done a few new ones in the past couple of days, but honestly ... I don't know how good they are. (I'm not being coy - I just can't tell!) I've been brave enough to post a couple new images in the Forum threads, but so far nothing out here in public. So if you see me doing something blurry, would you please drop me a note? I promise I'll be totally grateful! :) I would hate to put up something and have everyone say, "Oh the poor dear, she doesn't know what she's done." Thanks for your help and support! :)

I used to have a Strawberry Barrel, it was a plastic one but quite similar to this one, I found it in a skip, nothing wrong with it at all so I took it home and used it for about ten years, when it got consigned to another skip. I have seen these in our Garden Centers here in the UK but as Andrea points out they are not glazed like this. Excellent capture. Bravo!!!!!
