I had a couple of close shaves with deer on the road during the nightshift, nearly 30 years ago, but our police landrover was usually going up or down a steep, winding, high-hedged road, so the noise of the gears always seemed to give them adequate warning... ;o) Warm regards, from a crisp Glasgow, John.
