Description
Another sunrise shot--that quintessential southern California scene~~~~ sun, surfers, sea and of course, palm trees. I DID have a wonderful time and it would have been wonderful if lots of you HAD been there to share it with me!!!

I wish I was there with you Marilyn, it is getting a bit chilly here at night now, and it takes my bones longer to get warm. Pauline wants me to take her to a warm tropical place for the winter, trouble is she won't fly and she won't go on a boat, so I would have to do a number on her like Mr T. Excellent capture, I envy you being there. Bravo!!!!!

I overlook Lake Michigan, and it's vast to the raw eye but has no vistas like this. What's wonderful about this shot is the almost fairy-tale presence of the trees in the background: They look like they're "thought" there, like they appeared in an apparition. A really nice early morning shot, with all the misty light and peace that it brings. And just a few surfers out to catch an early breeze...
