Description

The source for this image is a photo of a 1940 Ford streetrod I shot with my Olympus E500 at a local car show Sept 21, 2008... I wanted to create a painted, airbrushed type feel and look.... I removed the owner's detail sheet from the driver's side front window by duplicating the passenger side. Then pasting it into place and using the mirror tool, then the freeform tool to massage it's shape . The detail sheet displays the year, make and model of the auto... I played around with the Topaz-Adjust plugin in PSPP X2 untill I got something I liked... I then added a texture to the image using PSPP's builtin texture engine.... Cheers Kenmo

Nicely done. I particularly like your explanation of what you did and the tools used. There's no end to what we can do digitally...but I'm still patiently struggling to learn more of the basics of Photoshop. Great job. Bill

I can see a GTO with it's brand new urethane covered bumpers in the red on this one. The blending of bumpers with sheetmetal that customizers did and was picked up by Detroit has now come full course. No crash dummies or 5mph barriers needed to apply the treatment to this 40.
