Thanks to Anne Rice and her stories, thanks to Lestat for being in that noggin of hers, along with all the rest of the awesome characters she has created. Thanks for giving my band the opportunity back in the day while you were still interested in the "Interview with a Vampire" movie before Tom Cruise was slated to play him, for the option fo getting our song "Angel to No One on the soundtrack somewhere until things fell through. And I just want to say, how everyone else celebrates Christmas, is how I celebrate Halloween...because I love scaring the crap out of everyone every chance I get all throughout the year, but it's especially fun now. Thomas P.S. This image was created while listening to the song Down and Out by Tantric. Due to the opening instrumentation being violins, it hearkens, at least in my own mind, to Carpathia, Romania, Eastern Block countries where the cities are old and stone and have so much character. The song, from what I can glean from the lyrics, has nothing to do with lyrics, but it sure feels like it when they sing the chorus and the first half is multiple voices gutteral and the rest sung cleanly. Very well thought out, I think, and since I've been a musician for 34 years now, I think I might know what I'm talking about.
