Description

This is a picture I've had in mind for some time... and it's taken a long time to construct! For some reason, whenever i have too many figures in my workspace, DAZ Studio crashes whenever I save my scene. And with this many figures, it takes a long time to load it back in. Rendering the scene was really quick - it was saving and loading that took me weeks to work on this project! A trio of adventurers following an old map lose their way, unaware that danger lurks in the woods.... I'm using Vicky 4.2 again, obviously, but also get to sport Michael 3 in the snazzy Dragoon Armor I purchased from here quite some time ago. The other two figures are both Apollo Max with morphs I created (and yes, the gnome is sporting Badkitteh's "Windy Wizard Robe," which I used in another of my pieces here, "The Bird Wizard.") I'll probably have to take a break from making new pictures for a bit. I need to work on a Web page for my family, then I'm going to try and participate in "National Novel Writing Month" this year. (Look it up! It should be fun!) I'll be back to playing with DAZ come December - maybe I'll finally be able to come up with an avatar for myself! Thanks for looking, and your comments!

Great Scene! I love all the trees in the background. The lighting is great. I have the same problem with multiple characters. One thing I've discovered is not to load skin until the entire scene is ready. It's hard because I want to see how the character looks now not later. Then, I save it under a different name in case it won't open again.
