Hi,
I am old by age, but young by heart and married for 49 years (to the same woman - eish)
Living in Rustenburg - (The Platinum Capital of the World) - in sunny South Africa.
My first camera was a very old (at that stage) BOX camera - way back in the mid 50s.
Since then has taken at least 8000 photos and kilometers of movies.
I at last has settled with a Canon Rebel (350) and apart from the 18-55mm standard lens, using a 70 - 300mm lens. (Waiting for my ship to come in for the 50-500mm lens).
We love the wild outdoors and are enthusiastic 4x4 offroaders and campers.
Favourite places to visit are the Richtersveld and Kgalagadi National Parks due to their remoteness and stunning atmosphere. (There are more stars in the Kalahari on a moonless night than in the whole word!!! :-))
Joint Renderosity on the 6 October 2008 (still a youngster).
By the way- Madani? Turn around and dubble the a between d & n, and you get Ina Adam.

Fantastic photo.

The early bird catches the worm is not far off the mark here. Lovely captured golden glow, fine detail, one can even see the fishing lines running towards the water.

Wow, wow, wow.... what an image! It is absolutely stunning. The gold of the sun reflecting on the water is amazing and the sun catching and reflecting off some of the fishing lines is just great. Can we go again???? Great work! :) ps - Hope Shortie will be fine!

I like the light "coat" you have known captured. The scene has something magic.

Well, I don't see desperate so much as I see determined. :-) This is the best time of the day to catch those hungry fish. It would seem that this point has some obstruction on either side or else they would fan out more. I know when I fish the ocean, it is tricky to hit the area by the cliffs that are most clear of swirling waves and sea grasses...sometimes there is only a space big enough to drop my bait straight down into it. love this shot.
