Help me get away with the CAD feeling in this scene!

he he he... hi Abreu, as an architect i can undertand your feeling, i make my models in AutoCAD and then i take them to 3d studio, it's hard to work for presentation of a product that needs to be very clear... I've got there're many differences bettween 3d art and marketing, at first, my works (i think) are quite little different from CAD and it's because two things that i can suggest you, a lot of effects by lighting, like more shadows and more difussed lights, and the second one is the mapping of materials, sometimes we use to make them a lot of clearly when reality is not that far, textues, at far distance are not that bump or big... another one is the little differences, the smooth of the vertex in walls and furniture, there are not "perfect squares" on reality... i hope espressed myself and take a little time to look my work, it is not perfectly 3d art but i think i'm braking that CAD feeling.
