Born in 1959 in Groningen, she was brought up in Veendam, and living now in Amerongen. Although she hasn't had any artistic education at an art-institute, she has spend her entire life drawing and (technical) designing, w/o a computer. Few years ago she has developed her own style and she is very content with it's recent results in most online galleries.
With her Apple Macintosh computer, she has been able to recreate the look of her designs to resemble other forms of 'Painting' styles, such as water colors and most her subjects sway towards plant and animal life. But you'll encounter other styles in her collection too.
All of her extra-ordinary designs are in the beginning fractals then edited and changed with Photoshop, Fireworks, Gimp or Painter. Other applications are not forgotten, like Flash and Dreamweaver, in the creation and presentation of animations and pages on the world wide web.

I usually choose names based on what the image elicits me, rather than on what it looks like. Your image reminds me of the orchids I use to buy for my wife, so it reminds me of the great feeling that is giving something precious to a loved one. i know it hardly makes any sense, but that's me. :o) It's a fantastic image, though, and that's what counts.

Very pretty! They look like sweet pea blossoms. I know what you mean about coming up with names. I have many that I have not posted because they won't tell me what their names are.
