Hi y'all! S'mee again. :^)
Back into 2d territory once again...( only the window image and the peach coming from my photographs, obviously )...and sigh....I'm suddenly discovering, much to my dismay, that photoshop has a whole slew of 'bugs' when it comes to creating '3D'-type images... ( even Gaussian Blur, who I thought was a good friend of mine, seems to have issues, lol. )
Anyway, this is just my silly 'take' on Magritte's famous, 'Listening Room'... and also his, "This is not a pipe, apple, etc. " series...
Oh yeah... before I go... to those of you who speak and/or know Le Francais, the text was no mistake. I was just trying to have a bit of fun with the word, 'peche'...
... if I got it right, lol.
Till next time....thanks for looking and have a great one!
Always
M :^)
PS Oops.... sorry about switching the comments on and off...lol. My bad.

Es una gran imágen, me parece que es una idea muy creativa y los resultados, aunque no de hayan dejado conforme, son sensacionales, muy bien hecho!

He he, French is really a difficult language : "péché" is "sin" while "pêche" is "peach"... just a matter of accent... or is this exactly the meaning of your wicked mind, Marlene ? I do appreciate a lot your creativity, my friend !

Like your surrealistic side marlene!!

...walking in Matisse's footsteps, with so much elegance, art and humour, Marlene! This is a superb and witty composition !

Yup Michel... that's exactly what I meant to say. ;^) Glad to know it made sense and I didn't make a faux pas like the last time I used French to name a pic of mine... when I wanted to say 'kiss me' and said something waaaaay different....but I won't go into that disaster again. It's way too embarrassing, lol.

Beautiful colors and lighting effects illuminate the lovely peach and environs as it hangs in a levitated state in this magnificent concept, Marlene!

this is really wonderful, Marlene. You've really transformed the Magritte. For one thing, this is almost a museum display piece, you've given a real thickness and physicality to the walls and used that overhead light so reminiscent of a gallery display. Not in the Magritte at all. Second, you've used a restful though passionate reddish brown, almost a rust (though not quite), which adds to the pun on "sin" and also changes the cooler tones of the Magritte. But most of all, the peach, here, doesn't take up the whole room, but floats with a lot of air around it, allowing us to see it as a separate object; and it's both sensual & wonderfully ripened, the lower right being positivelly in decay (decay being a beautiful thing to an artist because of its enormous richness and colorations). Also, it looks like you have some kind of textile/carpet texture on the back wall, a nice subtle touch, and real to displays. Oh, and I love the image on the left wall! (The window.) One of your photos, I assume, though it's delightfully hard enough to see that it almost looks like someone reaching for the horizon. I want to blow the pic up to 10 times the size and know what secret lurks there. A wonderful collage of images & techniques, and it's much more complex than the Magritte (and more sensuous). And I love that peach. It's one late-blooming peach, ornery, sensuous and not taking s___ from no one. Love this image.

A very nice interpretation indeed! I think this is another shining example of the true artistry within- as you work with several mediums to get the end result- not just relying on one or just using Photoshop to sharpen/color/correct etc- but actually creating complete abstract or surreal works completely from scratch, using the elements of your photography combined with your skills in Photoshop. Of course the end result is something like this, that looks as though it should be hanging in an art gallery!

A shriveled up peach, in a box with a window on one side. you are definitely smoking the same stuff Salvador did in his hay-day... lol. How come you didn't post the nudity warning? That peach could be grandma Moses's butt .. lol also I agree with Anahata.c whatever he/she said =)
