When I opened up this picture I said to myself "oh that is just gorgeous" and then I caught myself and wondered why I thought that because when I stopped and studied it, it wasn't gorgeous. It was stunning in terms of technique and rich texture work, but not gorgeous. It is truely a magical piece because it clearly works on both the concious and subconcous mind in completely different ways. Now I wonder how many of your other works have tugged me like this and I haven't caught it because either my concious or unconcious was dominating at the moment? One thing about your works... they always make me think at a deeper level... like nobody else can.

The expressionless face gives this an eerie appearance to me. It is excellent, and I love the mask. Even though, it fits for the upcoming Halloween, it would also fit a context of the masks people wear to hide behind. Powerful piece.
