Description

Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet fleet defense fighter. If you'd like to revisit this aircraft in the air look back in my gallery to Aug 31st, "Light And Vapor" and Aug 28th, "Shipmates" and "Almost Supersonic". This is a big and loud airplane! But that's the way we like 'em. I know ladies...it's kind of a guy thing. But I think some of you are being won over :-) Lots more info in Wikipedia...just Yahoo or Google F-18 Super Hornet. Thanks again for all your kind and helpful comments on my recent posts. Bill P.S. Check this out full-size.

Heck just taxi over the chocks. You can do it at full mil power. I've never done anything like that though! ;) Neat picture.

Nothing beats a feeling of when a lung rezonate of the sound of this aircraft. Great experiment. Excelent tight "portrait".

Now you're talking.. This could be a centerfold pix. I might add to your comments, a Cat shot with full burner in this bird will slap you head back somekinda hard. It does my heart proud to see an old Army Officer appreciate beauty and Naval Aviation.. Keep it up
