Time flys when I am here And it drags when I am gone Even when I am with you In the back of my mind In the depths of my heart I know the clock is ticking Until I have to leave again I can never laugh hard enough Or kiss you long enough To make up for being gone Tears run down my face And feel my soul Every time I drive away I have counted every tree In between here and there I know how many hours How many minutes Until I see your face again I try not to tell you How much it hurts when I have to leave Because I know it hurts you too

Very true words. Most of us have experienced that passage of time both ways. It doesn't seem right that it should be like that.

Out of my own experience from having a long distance-relationship some years ago, I can say that you did an excellent job discribing what one feels then... beautifully written, and the right image to go with it!
