BIOBorn 1973 and living in Germany, I never did anything creative before in my life until I started working with Bryce and PaintShopPro in February 2002. With the power of these digital tools I'm now able to explore and express myself in a way I never dreamt of.
The help and feedback from the Renderosity commune enabled me to develop my skills in the last months. Using many different styles and techniques to create my works, there is no special style I prefer, but architectual works are what I like the most today. And of course, Woodies are important for me - can't get them out of my head. ;-)
Since July '02 I've taken my first modelling steps. I'm glad that I am able to give some freebie models back to the community which helped me so very much.
I'm looking forward to a great and creative time at Renderosity.
Take Care,
Der Jimi

Nice tribute, he is definitely not forgotten. One of the last true rockers. One minor detail, though, he used a shotgun, not a handgun. As for usage of the real letter, I would, seriously, beware of Courtney were this pic ever to get recognized on a large scale - she is the queen of the harpies and has, apparently, a pretty mean team of lawyers. "All in all is all we are. All in all is all we are. All in all is all we are..."

Yes, you're right - he used a shotgun. By using a handgun I thought to express my artist's freedom. ;) No, just kidding - I just had a false memory about the weapon he used, so it's my fault depending the facts, therefore I still think that the gun fits the image better. Kurt was a great artist, and still today his "Something in the way" makes me so sad... Thank you all for the comments!

The unfortunate thing is we will never know unless somebody decides to speak but there is still speculation to some that he didnt pull the trigger....

The only things that detracts from this otherwise outstanding image are the candle flames, which are largely identical. In the analog world, they would be of different heights and each would have a slightly different shape.
