Description
Another one I snapped while visiting Nevada/California. I was just awestruck by how dry, raw and rugged that area is compared to here on the east coast.

One of the things I love about these mountains out here is the stark harshness of so much of it. The high deserts are amazing too and especially on the east slopes of the mountains, their strength is very evident. Nice capture.

Gorgeous picture, thanks for posting it. We lived in Utah for a time but are in South Dakota now....I prefer the desert and the landscape you show here.

Yes so dry, but beautiful in its own way. We have camped out in the Nevada Desert years ago. Not for the faint-hearted! :c)
