Helle, you really wake up my mushroom nose with your photos. yes, my friends said I had a mushroom nose, could feel the different smells and locate the delicate ones. I loooong for those walks in mileswide forests. i was never afraid to loose myself. i just asked inward, and found my way home again. of course I also had landmarks...a stone, here...a funny tree there. Gorgeous shot as always.

holy cow! What are those shrooms sitting on! It looks like something you sculpted! You get textures in macros that are always so new...full-size this is a big shot: I assume the mushrooms are sitting on a tree stump. The lines and textures are wonderful, and the cracks too. It could be stone too...whatever it is, the upper portion really shows the lines of nature's wear & tear. And the mold that accompanies mushrooms too...The mushrooms themselves look like serving plates where someone forgot to scrape off the syrup! They look like pancakes with little chunks of blueberry in them. (You even got some little hairs under some of the tops.) This is chock-full. A wonderful shot. And a fav. As I might've said years ago, "mushrooms are a gas, mannnnn!" A real blast.
