except for the fractal swirls it'd look like an abstract watercolor nicely done

this has an almost molten feel, opaque & rich & swirled, and your darks are deep rather than obliterating. You've used hues in an 'inward' mood, deep purples, deep blues, deep greens, etc.; and the swirls (petals?) are broad enough not to be taken over by the fractals, but be in dialogue with them, as equals. (Fractals can be commanding, for sure...) In spots the fractals act like jeweled moss growing on the surfaces they inhabit; and the surfaces look like watercolor in several places—as some of your commenters attest—because you've allowed seepage and beautiful texture to bleed through. A subtle mix of software and true paint-feeling; and a passionate image too. I'm glad you're working in several media; they seem to dwell inside you.
