Wonderful! It's surprising how intricate and interesting cactus can be. I always found a place in my garden for a few, but not in the past several of years. I figure my dogs would tangle with them, and then I'd have trouble. ;c)

Excellent macro, of this prickly beast, I say that because I have been on the wrong side of those barbed spines. In this shot they look to be quite large, when in fact they are tiny and stick into you with a vengence. Sunning capture superb clarity and detail. Bravo!!!!!
