Description

The light....I have had many doubts whether I should post this image or not. I decided to do so, as you can see now. The reason I did is the fact that I tried to do something else with the light.. not something new, I expect it to be done by others many times.. The past... This image has something to do with the past. The past in my country (Netherlands) but also with the past of Germany, England, Ireland etc. The technique: I used a torch light to create the effect. This enabeled me to create strange effects of shadows and light on the dolmen, cause that is what it is.

Why these rocks have been set purposely so is beyond me...I know only the smallest about countries other than my own but if you are talking light, perhaps it has to do with time? I do know that the shot is a good one that further enhances the aged wisdom of the stones.

imagine the ladies of the tribe that were once walking the earth.. they were able to lift these stones with their bare hands and put them whereever they liked them to be... great image that tickles the imagination.. it gives an idea for a great stone-lifting lady image to be made later this sunday dank
