First to your loss... damn! Sorry to hear that! There are ways to recover data from crashed disks, don't give up yet, but some are very expensive. To this image... is this real? Untouched? If so: WOW!!!!!!!

Very unique photo you have captured. Sorry to hear of your loss, trust in the makers of the technology someone may be able to help find a way to recover this data. Even deleted files from computers are still on hard drives. You only need to know how to get it.
