Here another photo at the Gumbo cook off. I was not going to upoad it but this lady who lived in Calif. for 10 yearssay she saw him a lot there in L.A. Calif. she was there when the big roits was going on. So maybe some of you people saw him around the country or heard of him? Thanks for looking and comments

Hummm…. it there from of ace one which plays with knife and a flap surely the funny ones of sound come out from it. cheer still my friend. Beautiful catch of sight. I aint never seen a washboard like that before Jocko, back in the days of Lonnie Donegan the kid mimics used to pinch their mothers real washboards for playing in the band. A lot of people still had them then, and used them for washing as well as in the band. Some were wood as well as steel, they even pinched their mothers thimbles from her sewing box to strum with. Excellent capture, never heard of this band before, but then I'm not into music as much as I used to be in the sixties. Bravo!!!!!
