That the Dr. in the trees...BIOI started with 3dsmax 2.5 7years ago. then i made a multimedia collage and saw Cinema 4D. I have to say that Cinema is such a cool and easy tool! its just GREAT! 2004 i made the second place at animago award europe. now 2006 i am working in the filmindustry. so its difficult to have time for my own pictures.
Enjoy my pictures!

It fools my senses! If you'd have put this in the photo gallery I wouldn't have been able to argue. Excellent work!

great atmosphere - great light!

I agree with all the comments, the efect of light on the wall is very nice. How many time do you need for the render?. Perhaps the edge of the steps and the swimming pool is too hard, I think that it would improve if you give it a little of bevel.

What a delightful scene. You have really caught that "afternoon feeling". Splendid work. :)))

Simple yet effective I'm not too sure about the lens flare apart from that v.good

THX for all your comments!!! It took 1h 6min to render at Athlon XP 1600+ 1,2GB Ram.

I think the water does not combines with the skies, but that's okay. The lens flare does not makes any sense to me.
drzorn
the lensflare was post proceed in photoshop. and the water has a rendertag so that the GI cant see it and i dont have a rendertime of 10h !! and for me the water is ok. :) ok.. it is a bit too sharp also the steps but i am still learning and not ILM member :) hehe
Nod
I think this is excellent.

Simply fantastic job with the lighting! Great work! A well deserved 10. =DBZ=

Lovely use of radiosity! Nice compostion. Over all light doesn't quite match the sky, but that's ok and your lens flare direction looks like it should be casting a shadow from the back wall down the left side wall. Well done though!

beautiful

The scene color looks very good for me, just two comments, one is the same of makw about the shadow of the wall, and the second is about the water, texture looks very goog and reflection too but i think there should be a little roughness and something in the border, i don't know what exactly is, i think it could be a little line like shadow or something like that. Very nice image :) Jose Luis

yeah great ligh/radiosity..that colour blend on the wall just excellent. and i see you are a good architect too. i like that elegant metal border. but i dont like the lensflare. and maybe you can add some reflectifity on the marble on the pool.
mrtom
almost perfect, just a little more blue in the sky (a glimpse),and a little soften in the stair reflection on the floor near the pool and i'll grant you a 12, ;) really nice mooded work
drzorn
i put a gradient on the top of the image. like a analog filter for a fotoaperat :) i dont know the word in english. HAHAAA THX for all comments!!
YL
great work as usual ! Could be a photo !
sampanna
just another comment :) this is beautiful .. seriously .. but (ok, i'm nitpicking now) maybe you could drop the lens flare?
haegerst
Just outstanding!!!!

very impressive!!!!

concerns jlserr comment: i think i know whats strange about the water. the blue color seems to "be" the water and not the paintcooat of the poolwalls. but i just noticed because i stared so long at this pic, for its just an outstanding piece of work.

Mood is compelling
