Description
I enjoyed doing the Book image from my last post so much that I thought I'd do another one.
I used a photo for the BG....a Frac....lots of drawing....some Mojoworld renders on the left hand page....and on the right hand page a ZBrush render of Bishop Foldy contemplating the floatability of spherical objects......lol.
All work done in Photoshop.

Nice detail and creative spark. This looks like it should be a scene from one of those Myst type games. Something you find and need to figure out.

fantastic & inventive way of using older materials jeff. I love the context of the pages & especially the attention to details, the watermarkings, the aging at the spine the torn off portion of the page & even the fonts/characters used. The perspective looks abit off to me though? it looks like we have the table flat the wood is raised therefore the book edge perspective would be different but then the braids would be taking the weight of the book?! perhaps my eyes :) Have you thought about modelling a ZBrush Book with a heavy lock on the cover like inn the Mummy movies? Perhaps a stack of these books in a room with 1 book open on a podium ?! Perhaps even with Foldy reading that book?! Fantastic work Jeff :-)
