Description

Hello All! Taken this summer at Fernwood gardens near my my Mom's home in St Joe Mich . Fernwood began as the country home of Kay and Walter Boydston, who purchased the first 12.5 acres in 1941. During the years that followed, Fernwood became a popular gathering place for those who shared Kay's love of nature, horticulture, and the craft arts. In 1964 Fernwood became a public place to stroll through. Most of the floral beauty was at it's end by the end of the summer when we went hiking there in late August ,but I was drawn to this sweet little brown eyed susan lined path and charming garden hut shown here in this shot and thought I would share it with you today . Had such a fun day there they have a hidden little cafe with a top chef where you can dine on the patio and watch the birds play and see a beautiful garden view . Had the best lunch (a yummy cranberry chicken salad ) that I have had in ages here!!! Have been Really wishing and longing for the fall color we do not get much of that in southern CA it seems so all you that are surrounded by it are so fortunate!!! Thanks for your time and comments!!! Love to all !!! ((( BIG HUGS ))) ~ kimmers ♥ :O)

Absolutely perfect! I just love the framing: so often a frame can be too dominant, this one is perfection itself! (I wish I knew how to do it!)

While sauntering with your daughters, on this gravel path, in the middle of all these more or less large flowers, like these enormous yellow flowers, imagine all, surprised by the rain… and fascinating refuge after an unextended turning in this small relay of hunting!!! What a pleasure of seeing the puie refreshing all these flowers!!! What a seen splendid and poetic chose there! Thank you Kimarie!!!

haven't the hand to write long today, but lord, it's curvy & lush & beautiful and it would be lush any time of year because of your pov, how you bring out the river of lush luminous greens & oranges and whites, all grouped in your piece like an exquisite bouquet, and all leading to that orangish little hut or tower or whatever it is. (Gazebo.) You know just how to place walkways, and you always, but always bring out the inner light. It's truly beautiful. A 'cosmic cameo' once more...
