Hi everyone, just a quick note about me. Not too much as far as a trained artist, mostly self-taught. I think I had 1 art class in school, senior year.  I've "arted"  in just about everything one can think of, including beading beautiful sheer floral fabrics, have taught graphic arts , then interior design , and had a business as a floral designer,  but have landed on digital art mostly as of late, I have done quite a bit of wall graphics and have a commissioned project on the drawing board now. Anyway, all those disciplines have come together here. As a profession I am a Paraprofessional working with special need kids here in Las Vegas , Nevada.I originally came to discover Renderosity from an artist of the ultra fractal group, and cut my artistic baby teeth in ultra fractal 2.5 and that begins my gallery here, I later discovered that I wanted to inject people into the abstract art and low and behold, this idea and find  www.renderosity.com       Praying for a better future for mankind, won't u join in??  Blessing Linda  Â

Everyone has a story about someone saved by a doctor and a story about someone they put at unnecessary risk. This sweetie is working on her glare.

So sorry that you went through this BAD experience, Linda. Sadly, even with our modern advances, medicine is not an exact science and all too often a busy intern or a flustered nurse doesn't listen ( or worse, thinks they know best). Your beautifully rendered model looks as though she might be building up a head of steam -- look out hospital!!

She does have a very pensive expression. Great work on this. And I'm so glad to hear you are okay after your ordeal. I'm sure you were terrified and felt so helpless...and then you got some help. I do agree that the hospital can be a very dangerous place. When my mom was ill years ago my dad stayed with her night and day and many of the nurses, especially the night shift, didn't know how to change an iv and he used to do it. Happy you are home and recovering. CC

I'm so sorry to learn you had such a bad experience, Linda and hope you're totally OK now...if I judge by this picture I'd say you are and I'm very happy !Is this beauty angry ? thoughtful ? Doctors, nurses, be careful she's coming ! Hugs.

Sorry I missed this.... I like alot she looks real not just the avg. portrait. In fact with different hair style she would have the look of an upper crust English woman from the victorain period. Here she has the look of maybe sexy middle age woman from France, one of the nordic countries, or some exotic place like that, kind of hard for me to explain right now. I like alot your lighting on her shows up so much detail in face, lips, and hair. This is excellent Bravo!!!!!!

I am sorry to hear about your health issues. I went through a similar situation... being in a hospital is like being in prison... I actually made a therapist listen to me and she was almost fired for it... By the way, nice render.

Very nice portrait, how do you make something like that? Do you upload a poser figure in photoshop and just start painting?

Thanks for your comment on my "Witnessing a Fight" picture. I'm sorry you had such an ordeal at the hospital and hope you are all healed now. I'm a nurse, or was, rather, and listening to the patient and be their advocate is KEY when you work as a health care professional. Always saddens me when colleages fall short of that. Love this portrait - she's looking far in the distance with a very intriguing expression on her face. Great job! Gun aka redheadgrrl
