Description
Here is a new type of cutaway done for Starship Inquiry. It cuts right along the hull centerline. Creating this images was more work than I anticipated. Many meshes and Nurbs objects needed to be exploded to get the effect I wanted. To get a sense of scale, look for the human figures shown inside the observation domes. All smallcraft seen in this image were made by fellow Renderosity artist rj001.

Very nice work. Good adaptation of traditional cutaway conventions to a science fiction vessel. Those people in the Observatory Dome are hard to make out, at first. Scale on very large objects is a challenge to establish.
