Thru the Glass of a Shattered Souls
In life we are born
like a clean sheet of glass
clean and clear,
free of the blemishes
that life has to offer
Over the span of time
we are weathered by many of storms
causing large and small cracks
till we lose the transparency we were born with
go from clear to clouded, from whole to crack�d
Till comes the day when
we can't hold ourselves together
crumbling into pieces so numerous not even glue can not bind us together
left on life�s floor swept away and emptied into the trash bin of the universe,
gone forever
but never forgotten�
